Peace of Christ

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your heart.”
Colossians 3:15

“Our hearts are the center of conflict because there our feelings and desire clash - our fears and hopes, distrust and trust, jealousy and love.  How can we deal with these constant conflicts and live as God wants?  Paul explains that we must decide between conflicting elements by using the rule of peace - which will promote peace in our souls.”

Our Heart

 “For where your treasure is,
there your heart will be also.”
Matthew 6:21

“One of the most important biblical topics is your own heart.  Throughout the biblical story God shows that He is not nearly as interested in your money, time or service as much as He is your heart.

Why is this important?  Jesus taught His disciples that the heart is the center of our lives.  Our emotions and our desires flow from the condition of our heart.  If God gets access to our heart, then the rest of our lives follow after.  If God has your heart life will head in the right direction.”

Anxiety

“When anxiety was great within me,
your consolation brought joy.”

“This is a Bible verse that offers comfort during times of anxiety, fear, or overwhelming worries.  It highlights that while turmoil may be great, God’s consolation brings joy, peace and reassurance to the soul.”
