“The Holy Spirit’s goal is to enlighten the eyes of our understanding so we get revelation of the hope of our calling and the riches of the glory of our inheritance. He wants not not only to calm us, comfort us, give us peace, take away all of our fears, and pour out his love into us but also to reveal hope, destiny, and power. He has so much more for us than just survival; He wants to awaken us to a life that goes way beyond into all sorts of victories and exploits. He loves to restore our souls, making us “lie down in green pastures” (Ps. 23:2-3). He wants to bring each of us into a place where we have such boldness that we recognize nothing is impossible for God and “all things are possible for those who believe in Him (Matt. 19-26; Mark 9:23). That’s the kind of strengthening we can expect every time we worship.”
