Living In God’s Presence

“In your presence there is fullness of joy.”
Psalm 16:11

“Living in God’s presence means maintaining a constant, conscious awareness of Him throughout your daily life. You can know you are in God’s presence through a deep inner peace, a strong pull to love and forgive others, and a quiet stillness in your heart.  God is always near, but recognizing His nearness often feels like an awakening in your spirit and sudden urge to pray, thank God or sing.

To focus on His presence turn off noise and distractions to listen in the silence.  Read scripture to remind your mind of God’s character and where you felt a moment of peace or goodness during your day.

Remember that God is always with you!!!

Words Matter

 “Therefore encourage one another
and build up one another.”
1 Thessalonians 5:11

“Think back to the last time someone encouraged you.  Can you still fill how it lifted your spirit?  Paul understood the power of a reassuring word.  He was reminding one another that it really mattered that much.
You may pass by someone today who needs encouragement.  Don’t worry about saying the right thing; God will give you the words.
